Joseph M. Lowry III, PE – President
Joe is a Mechanical Engineer licensed in New York, Maryland, and Michigan. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Joe holds a patent for an intermodal collapsible shipping container and has worked on projects for the West Valley Demonstration Project, Bechtel, St. Gobain, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. As President, Joe oversees business development and strives to integrate all areas of the company.
Dana M. Pezzimenti, PE – Vice President
Dana is a Mechanical Engineer licensed in New York, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington. Dana is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and oversees RJR’s mechanical engineering department as well as all design operations. He has experience working on projects for the West Valley Demonstration Project, the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in Carlsbad, NM, and a number of manufacturers and fabricators. His specialty is pressure vessel design and analysis.
Joseph P. Jaracz, PE – Principal Engineer
Joe is a Civil / Structural engineer licensed in New York, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Washington. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, and specializes in heavy industrial, power facilities, and hazardous DOE Facilities. Joe has a range of experience, working on projects for the West Valley Demonstration Project, NYSEG, NYPA, and various manufacturing and fabricating companies.
Thomas R. Gilmartin, PE, LEED AP, PMP – Principal Engineer
Tom is an Electrical Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and a Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP). He is licensed in New York, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, and Alberta, Canada. Tom graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and has designed projects across the globe. With a competency in electrical power and controls including MV substations, switchgear, PLC / SCADA and instrumentation, he has worked on projects for General Electric, the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in Carlsbad, NM, the Seneca Nation of Indians, and Omya, Inc.
Neil P. Stockholm, PE – Senior Principal Engineer
Neil is a civil engineer licensed in Colorado and the anchor of RJR’s Denver office. He is a graduate of Montana State University and has extensive experience as both an engineer and a project manager in the energy industry. His notable projects include the PG&E Pipeline Rehabilitation Program Initiation in California, the Holly Energy UNEV Petroleum Products Pipeline which spans from Salt Lake City, UT to Las Vegas, NV, and the Donlin Creek Pipeline in Alaska.
Richard A. Meigs, PE – Senior Principal Engineer
Rick is a Mechanical Engineer licensed in New York, California, Maryland, Oregon, South Carolina, and Washington. A graduate of Cornell University, Rick has extensive experience in the nuclear arena. He has worked on projects at the Separations Process Research Unit site in Niskayuna, NY, the West Valley Demonstration Project in West Valley, NY, and the Hanford site in Washington. He is considered an expert in the planning and design of remote operations and remote handling systems and holds a number of patents.
Donald Borkowski, PE – Principal Engineer
Charles A. Vara III, RA, LEED AP BD+C – Principal Architect
Chuck is a Registered Architect licensed in New York as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. He is a graduate of Erie Community College and has experience in all aspects of architecture, including commercial, healthcare, government, residential, recreational, office development, and retail facilities.
Eric A. Gallion, PE – Senior Principal Engineer
Eric is a Mechanical Engineer licensed in New York and Washington. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and specializes in the design of HVAC, HEPA exhaust ventilation, and dehumidification systems. He has completed designs for various Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center locations, the West Valley Demonstration Project, and the Niagara Falls Generation Project.
Robert J. Runge II – Senior Principal Engineer
Bob is a Civil Engineer licensed in New York, Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. Bob graduated from the Clarkson College of Technology in Potsdam, NY and has a wide range of experience in all aspects of civil engineering, construction, environmental policy and permitting, and fire protection. He has designed projects for the Department of Energy, the West Valley Demonstration Project, NYPA, the Buffalo Sewer Authority, the Gow School, and a number of subdivisions, developments, and residential properties. Bob has also provided forensic engineering services and expert witness testimony.
