Andrew J. Wiedemann, EIT – Engineer
Andy is a Mechanical Engineer and graduate of Alfred State College. He has worked at the West Valley Demonstration Project and has assisted in the design of mechanical equipment and systems, development of assembly / detail drawings, and calculations. He also has extensive experience as a designer / drafter.
Benjamin E. Hrycik, PE – Professional Engineer
Ben is a Mechanical Engineer licensed in New York State. He is a graduate of Clarkson University and has nearly a decade of engineering experience ranging from Product Engineering at Fisher-Price to Finite Element Analysis for various manufacturers and fabricators. Ben has done designs and calculations under RJR’s NQA-1 quality assurance program, performed structural evaluation of pressure vessels, and prepared software verification test reports.
Daniel J. Sarata, PE, LEED AP BD+C – Professional Engineer
Dan is a Structural Engineer licensed in New York as well as a LEED Accredited Professional (Building Design and Construction specialty). He is a graduate of the SUNY College of Technology at Alfred and the Rochester Institute of Technology. Dan has experience in transportation design including bridges, monorails, and pavements, foundations, structural steel, masonry, concrete, light gage steel, wood structures, and sitework for manufacturing, industrial, nuclear, governmental, and healthcare facilities.
Evan L. Krug, EIT – Engineer
Evan is a Mechanical Engineer and graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. He has experience in CAD, design of tooling for nuclear waste recovery / repackaging, troubleshooting of field issues, quality assurance, product modifications, and project management. Evan has worked with clients in the nuclear, manufacturing, health care, governmental, and fabrication industries.
John T. Allan – Senior Engineer
John is Fire Protection Engineer with over forty years’ experience. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a graduate of Air Force Community College and Air Force Institute of Technology. During his time in the military, John served as Senior Fire Officer and Master Sergeant. He has extensive experience working at the West Valley Demonstration Project and has designed both modernizations and replacements for all fire detection, special hazard systems and suppression systems on the site. John has also prepared Fire Hazard Analyses and Life Safety Assessments, designed fire alarm and suppression systems, provided code compliance review, and provided technical consultation for a number of nuclear and manufacturing facilities.
Jonathan F. Fabian – Associate Engineer
Jonathan is an Electrical Engineer and holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has experience working on substation, switchgear utilities, and generation projects. He is familiar with NQA-1 program requirements, project management, creation of drawings and code, and code compliance.
Mary C. Padasak – Engineer
Mary is an Environmental Engineer with a background in construction-related environmental concerns. She is a graduate of Clarkson University, a NYSDEC Qualified Inspector for SPDES General Permit Erosion and Sediment Control, a Grade C Water Plant Operator, and has completed Army Corps of Engineers 38-Hour Wetland Delineation Training, HAZWOPER 40-Hour Course and 8-Hour Annual Refresher Course, and the OSHA 10-Hour Occupational Safety and Health Training Course. She is experienced in on-site inspections, procurement of grants and government financing for projects, storm water design, permitting, state reporting, coordination of testing, preparation of SWPPP, SPDES inspection and reporting, and bulk storage design, compliance, and permitting.
Matthew J. Strawser, EIT – Engineer
Matt is a Structural Engineer with a construction management background. He is experienced in the design of foundations, retaining walls, reinforced masonry, reinforced concrete, steel and timber design, as well as design calculations and the review of drawings and calculations. Matt is experienced in AutoCAD and STAAD Pro and is familiar with ACI and ASTM standards and NQA-1 requirements.
