RJR Engineering performs work to its established ASME NQA-1-2008 Quality Assurance Program (QAP) and applicable implementing procedures. The current RJR Engineering Quality Assurance Manual is organized to address all 18 requirements of NQA-1 2008, including NQA-1 1a-2009 addendum, as applicable to our work.
ASME NQA-1 is a regulatory standard created and maintained by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The ASME NQA-1 Certification program provides a means for an organization supplying items or services which provide a safety function for nuclear facilities to have its Quality Assurance Program recognized by ASME as having had its Quality Assurance Program audited and verified to be in conformance with the requirements of the ASME NQA-1 Standard. This Quality Assurance aspect is vital to the safety and security of the nuclear industry.
Though not directly applicable to all of RJR’s projects, the strict standards and methods of quality and document control are extended to every project we approach, no matter the size or scope.
